We're living in a den of thieves!

So I just paid my mid month bills, being those that are not due at the end of the month like most normal people do, and damn do those things suck. I put off bill paying every single pay period, not because of lack of money, but because I hate pressing that damn "submit" button on each and every website I pay on. Painful to say the least.

So it's February and I've managed to post again. I intentionally bitched at the forefront of my post to quell any feelings of happiness you all might feel for my sudden increase of posting. I've decided to have somewhat of a theme for this post, being about the month of February in general. In particular, it's the month we celebrate Valentines Day (hopefully) with someone who cares about us, the same we care about them. The trend as of late though seems to be an automatic process, and nothing more. Allow me to explain:
Most of us guys buy flowers and chocolates for our significant others to celebrate the death of one of the early Christians who was killed for performing marriages in the early [pagan] Roman Empire. A martyr, if you will, by the name of St. Valentine. What makes this kind of interesting is how we get flowers which are expensive and VERY temporary, and chocolates which most women complain make them fat later on.
The ladies, sometimes begrudgingly, put on their finest, skimpiest, outfits and "take one for the team" for their part.
Don't get me wrong, I am not against the holiday in any way, shape or form. Kathy can tell you I am the most romantic guy out there, and I often choose the very same methods most men employ. This is just a service announcement for all of my male fans out there for something I have done that seems to work great in conjunction with the traditional gifts. Now most of you undoubtedly just thought of Jory wearing a diaper and little angel wings, whilst holding a bow and arrow.... close. No, I choose to surprise my princess in different ways each year. I have made her dinner, given her backrubs and the sort. I have found, through experience, that you can make her feel special by taking some of the load off her back. Granted Kathy and I don't live together yet, but I still find ways to make sure she has at least one less thing to do each V-day.
If you pull it off just right I'm sure you'll find that it's better to be appreciated than it is to just be acknowledged this year.

Now enough of Dr. Love, it's lunch time and I'm damn hungry for a sammich!
