Back, but not in black because grey is the "new black"

Ok, ok. So I've been MIA for like ever but give a guy some credit I've been through a lot lately and explanations are forthcoming.

First off let me apologize to my adoring blog fans (the both of you are great). Secondly be prepared for a horrendous update of dramatic proportions.

Numero uno on my list of life updates is that once again I am single. Yes, Kathy and I decided to call it quits after 4 years of being together. I'd be a lying bastard if I said it was mutual but then again I'm a lying bastard anyway. The thick and skinny of it is; I'm 25 and she's only 21. I've had my fill of partying (ok maybe not my fill but keeping up has gotten tough) and she's just growing up. We are at different parts in our lives and maybe some day if its meant to be we'll be together again... but anyone whose known me for enough time will know I won't hold my breath.

Without spilling my guts too much I think thats about the hardest thing I've gone through in my life. You see, when you breakup with someone over a fight or because they cheated on you its easy. You tell yourself "Hey, that fucking person sucked and you are better off without them", but when it comes to splitting up because of a hazy issue like the one above you are left with feelings of resentment, guilt and the sadness of we could have been great together.
I also am now feeling the dread of not finding someone to spend my life with. Who would have that a guy like me would ever worry about that?!? Like I said before, I'm 25 and not getting any younger or better looking for that matter. So if there are any single ladies reading this feel free to drop me a line!

For those of you who don't know, I have moved up to my new apartment in a city called "Newport News". Sounds stupid doesn't it? All of my NoDak friends are scratching their heads wondering how that could be the name of a city. I live with my roomate Patrick and the newest love of my life Max the cat. Max's full title is: Darth Maximus, Dark Lord of the Sith.

Lets see what else happened lately... Oh yeah. My little sister Hally got married! She married a wonderful guy named Mike Lignon in July. They are expecting their first baby rather soon...

I also went up to New York for a couple of days too. I'm talking the middle of Manhatton baby! Let me tell you something about that city too, its not half as scary as I thought it would be. The subways are easy to learn, the people aren't all that pissy, and the food is fantastic. Pictures will be posted soon showing the wonders of such places as: Times Square, Central Park, Trump Tower, and the Empire States building.

Phew... thats enough for now I think. You vultures will need to prey on the juicy, rotting portions of my carcasse another time.
